02: The Untold Story of Jesus and Joseph P2 of 2 [Podcast]

Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.
— Jesus (Luke 16:10)
Your gifting will take you to a place where your character will not sustain you.
— Morgan Snyder (Become Good Soil)

What happened to Jesus between 12 and 30 years old? While Scripture says little, that doesn’t mean we aren’t invited to explore the question. If Jesus is in fact the pioneer of our salvation as Scripture tells us, it’s worth considering the journey Jesus had to take to become the man who changed everything and opened up the Kingdom of Heaven to all.

In Part 2 of a 2 part series, we consider a picture of what it likely looked like for Jesus growing up in the early stages of His masculine journey, and why it had to look something like that. And this picture gives us a helpful vision of the ancient path laid out for all who choose the old road to the true man.

This is the inaugural podcast for Being Son, a ministry we pray will be used to equip the masculine souls of many men. Every journey must start somewhere, and what better place to start than with the pioneer of our salvation (Heb 2:10).

Please pray for us to walk and grow with love and discernment as we experiment with this new medium to help God unlock the true glory of men.
