Being Sons wants to help you host a fire where men can build the relationships they need with one another, and most importantly, with God.

THE CODE OF FIGHT CLUB

We share a code around the fire that helps men trust one another and discover the goodness of God.

STORY

Leave your religious and professional credentials at home. Around the fire we are all sons, equals, men in a circle learning to be curious as we tell our stories, because God is always in the stories.

HONOR

We listen to each other and walk in love. We are not here to “get it right” or fix one another. No teaching, preaching, counseling or interrupting. And what is shared around the fire stays at the fire.

COURAGE

Risk being seen and known. As God’s sons we have nothing to hide and nothing to prove. The fire is a safe place to share our stories, questions, struggles and hopes.

HOW DO I START A FIRE?

It’s easy. Men have been gathering around fires for all of human history to share their laughter, pain and wisdom through their stories. We are not reinventing the fireside fellowship. We are simply redeeming it by bringing God back into it. Here is how to do it:

1. GET A FIRE PIT
Pick one up at the hardware store or make it a project and build your own.

2. INVITE MEN OVER
Pray about it and pick at least 2 men you think might be like-hearted.

3. LIGHT A FIRE AND ENJOY
Bring your stories and your questions. Share life together as God intended.
